Brian is a Principal at VLMK Engineering + Design with over 30 years of engineering experience. His responsibilities at VLMK focus upon the management of the Civil Engineering team at VLMK and overseeing all aspects of civil design work on our industrial and commercial development projects. The Civil Engineering team at VLMK is involved in all phases of land development from project inception to land use review, development of construction documents, permitting, and providing construction assistance.  His favorite design aspect is devising stormwater and grading solutions for challenging sites.

A Portland native, Brian obtained his degree from Portland State University. Upon graduation, he worked at a few local firms, before joining VLMK in 1998. He likes to spend his free time watching classic movies and mixing craft cocktails. When not tormenting his three children with movie quotes and dad jokes, he can be found playing guitar. Typically, with the volume cranked up to eleven.
