Mike is a Principal at VLMK Engineering + Design with a background in structural analysis, evaluation, upgrades, design and construction administration. Mike’s building experience includes design with a variety of different construction types and materials, from commercial and religious projects to seismic upgrades and office buildings. Mike’s main focus centers on project management and design of industrial concrete tilt-up buildings and he takes prides e in providing practical and cost-effective design solutions that result in inventive and functional facilities.

Mike joined VLMK after graduating from Portland State University and is a second-generation structural engineer. Outside of the office Mike can be found remodeling his house, working on his car, traveling or just relaxing with his family.
