Conveyco Chain in Clackamas, OR added a new 25,000 Sq. Ft. concrete tilt-up manufacturing building to their existing property located at SE Tolbert Street & Minuteman Way, Clackamas County, Oregon.

The building will supplement Conveyco Chain’s fabrication operations with a new 800-ton chain link press.  Additional features include a 26ft. clear hook height 10-ton overhead bridge crane that runs the length of the north side of the building.  Accommodations for an additional bridge crane has been provided on the south side as well.  A small office space with storage mezzanine above has also been provided for the employees.

VLMK Engineering + Design provided the Structural Engineering which included: special reinforced concrete tilt walls, for the roof structure: hybrid – open web steel joists and girders, wood sub-purlins, and wood sheathing, reinforced concrete slab-on-grade, concrete spread and continuous reinforced footings, and horizontal wood diaphragm and concrete exterior shear walls.
