As the prime engineering consultant, VLMK worked closely with Turner Construction and the design-build sub-contractors to design, permit, and construct a state of the art manufacturing facility within 10 months of the awarded contract. The concrete tilt-up structure required 106 foot clear-span girders and a substantial slab-on-grade to provide flexibility as the manufacturing process evolves in the future.
