Working closely with Fosler Portland Architecture and WDC Properties, VLMK helped create efficient structural designs for multifamily residential buildings that support the design and system elements critical to WDC Properties’ focus on sustainability and high quality urban living.

Many of these projects fall under WDC’s ekoHaus line of sustainable properties, which includes standard green features such as Sustainable Forestry Initiative wood, low-flow plumbing, extra insulation and energy efficient fixtures. Aside from living space, many of the WDC Properties’ residential buildings include areas for mixed-use applications such as ground level retail.

VLMK continues to provide structural and civil engineering design, permit coordination and construction phase services to over 13 WDC Properties projects.
