Trent Nagele, a Senior Principal with VLMK Engineering + Design will be a speaker at the upcoming Tilt-Up Convention and Expo in Phoenix, Arizona in October 2024.  His presentation, “ACI Slender Wall Design Provisions – Behind the Scenes” will provide an inside look at current topics being discussed by ACI committee members and others around Tilt-up design.

Trent has over 28 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.  He has had an active role in editing upcoming updates to the ACI 551 Tilt-up Design Guide currently in review, and recently co-authored the article Tilt-Up Design Pitfalls with John Lawson and Jeff Griffin published in the American Concrete Institute’s Concrete International magazine.
